Dale Shook and Kevin Shook started Sprinklerman Irrigation back in the 1982. Dale, a Master Plumber, had worked for a major plumbing company that did some irrigation, but mostly large-scale plumbing projects such as the pump system in Lake Maumelle and the piping and plumbing in what is currently Simmons Tower.

Dale hurt his back/Kevin came home/Sprinklerman Irrigation was born. Wes the youngest of Dale’s children, followed in his father and older brother’s footsteps and began working for them in the lawn irrigation industry/pipe fitting in his 20’s. Wes received both his backflow testing license and backflow repair license in 2015, and then proceeded to get his Master Plumber’s license in 2017. Dale aged/Kevin got sick/Wes took over. Arkansas Piping Systems d/b/a Sprinklerman of Arkansas was incorporated January 7, 2021, after Wesley Shook restructured the establishment built by his father and brother.

 While the name has changed, the knowledge, customer service and acute attention to water efficiency has only grown. We currently have 3 licensed plumbers running the day-to-day operations of the company. While our beginnings were in irrigation, we have expanded to include drainage and plumbing systems to our repertoire. Arkansas Piping Systems designs, installs, and maintains lawn irrigation, drainage, and plumbing systems.

All systems use exclusively Rainbird and Hunter materials. Our systems are built to be efficient and last a lifetime. We serve home builders and developers, homeowners, and business across the central Arkansas area. While the irrigation and plumbing industry is highly competitive, we believe our product and service to be superior to other plumbing and irrigation companies. We stand by our work as we warranty our systems. Our goal is to provide efficient systems to our clients that are reliable and maintenance free.
